Callie Chappell is a pre-law student at the University of Michigan pursuing a dual undergraduate degree in biology (honors) and masters degree in molecular, cellular, and developmental biology (MCDB) with a focus on molecular botany. Callie is the founder of the Lean In Evolution circle. She is also deeply involved in policy debate as a member of the University of Michigan debate team and a debate coach for Gulliver Preparatory High School. Callie is the president of the POSIT (Philosophy of Science in Technology) Society and aspires to be an environmental lawyer. In her free time, she hikes in the woods, writes slam poetry, paints on maps, reads T.S. Eliot, and enjoys being a feminist.
